My name is Iris Cong, and I’m a second-year medical student at Stanford.
Prior to medical school, I completed a B.S. in computer science at UCLA and then studied quantum information in Professor Mikhail Lukin’s group at Harvard. In November 2022, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis entitled “Quantum Machine Learning, Error Correction, and Topological Phases of Matter.”
This website contains a collection of products and achievements from my scientific research career and various extracurricular activities.

Hi Iris!
